What We Do
Support Our Bees
It's extremely important for everyone to understand that we need bees. We may take them for granted, but they're vital to our food supplies and the various nutrients we need to stay alive. The vast majority of plants we need for food rely on pollination, especially by bees: from almonds and vanilla to apples and squash. Bees also pollinate around 80% of wildflowers and vegetation in the world making it nearly impossible for us to live without them.
We believe in supporting the natural cycles of the beehives and teaching the positive effects of bees upon our environment.

What You'll Learn
Long Live The Bees
Bees have been kept for over 4500 years, going back to ancient times as cave paintings show. In ancient Egypt, honey was used as a sweetener for royalty. Honey was found in King Tut’s tomb that was over 3000 years old… and it was still edible!
Natures Little Miracles
These little miracles work non stop to keep the planet alive. The average worker bee lives for just five to six weeks. During this time, she’ll produce around a twelfth of a teaspoon of honey. Yes, that's right, all the worker bees are female.
Sustaining Life
Honey is the only foodstuff that contains all of the necessary nutrients to sustain life? The benefits of bees are coming to light. Bees are currently being used to study dementia. When a bee takes on a new job usually done by a younger bee, its brain stops aging!
God Save The Queen
During the winter, some worker bees take on the job of “heater bees,” where they vibrate their bodies in order to keep the hive at the optimal temperature of 95ºF to keep the Queen alive.
